"An animal does what it does. And he was an animal, after all. "
The Gaze Between Us is a collection of short stories that explore the dynamics between the human mind and animal nature, logic vs feeling. This collection is about connection: every character in these stories is either looking outward or looking inward, searching for something. They're looking for meaning, for understanding, for balance, for a way to relate to themselves and to others, and must all navigate the wilds of their experiences as they search.
