Asiya Zaki is a black female multifaceted poet, songwriter, and novelist from Oakland California. She began writing at the age of 10, using poetry as a therapeutic outlet and means of self-expression. What started as a mere interest transformed into a true passion, driving Asiya to explore the depths of her creativity through fiction. 

Now with her book set to release May 17th, she’s eager to share her voice through her love for creative writing.
